Available Puppies

We currently have a litter of puppies from our beautiful Margo x Jalhar The Wonder Of You At Haggatty, who should be ready for their new homes mid June 2026. We are asking people who might be interested in one of those puppies to join our waiting list by filling in the questionnaire at the bottom of this page. We ask each prospective new beagle person to fill out a questionnaire so that we are more able to help you with the right choice of puppy.

Why does the breeder matter?

It is great that you call around find the breeder who is most suited to your needs. Many prospective owners go on a variety of breeders waiting lists, but please do not go for a breeder just because they have the first available puppy. The first eight weeks of the puppies life will have an effect on the rest of the dog's life and their behaviour, too.

Available juniors or adults

From time to time, we have junior or adult beagles to rehome. We will list these as they become available. If you would like to be kept up to date with adult availability, please fill out the form below.

We want to ensure that all our pups go to the right kind of loving homes, so please take your time answering the questionnaire to give us some information about yourself, your family and why this is the breed for you, so we can help you find the right pup.

The Waiting List will automatically be deleted at the end of the year, so we don't keep your details for longer than necessary. So if you want to stay on the list for the coming year, do let us know.

Owning a beagle can be a challenge, so we look for specific qualities in prospective owners in order to be certain that a new beagle in your home will be well looked after, and you'll have considered some of the complexities involved in beagle ownership.

We recognise this may be an awkward question for many, but we ask this so we have an understanding of your expectations. It also helps us tailor any offer we might make to you.

Why have you picked a beagle? What experience or understanding do you have of the breed?

Please describe what you believe to be some of the challenging characteristics of beagles and how you might handle them.

Please outline a typical day from your new beagle's point of view - with whom would the dog be with throughout the day? What (if any) alone time would he/she have, and where would he/she be? What happens to the dog when you go on holidays?

Where would the beagle sleep? What would you do if the dog is anxious in the middle of the night?

Please describe how you might walk the dog once grown - who does it, how often, how long are walks, would they go on/off leash etc?

What sort of training do you think a puppy/adult beagle requires, and how would you go about achieving this?

Will you need to adapt your home or garden to accommodate a beagle? If so, how?

In the event your personal situation changes (e.g. separation/divorce/full time work etc) what would happen to the dog?

Many dogs get caught up in unexpected family changes and find themselves without a home through no fault of their own. Please try to be as honest as possible when answering this question.
